Balloon Decor & Entertainment Terms & Conditions
The décor for your event will be carefully designed to complement the information and ideas collated from your discussion with our specialist design team.

When you receive your quotation please take time to look through it and feel free to contact us if you have any queries. If you are happy to accept our services then please sign the service agreement form and return at your earliest. No booking will be confirmed with us until we have received a sign booking form.

Payments
- A non refundable booking deposit of £50 is required (unless other wise stated) to secure the services of “Balloon Art Studio” is required upon receipt of a signed booking form; this will be deducted from the total cost of your event when paying the balance.

- The final balance must be paid in full 1 week prior to your event.
- As Balloon Art Studio is not currently registered for VAT, you do not have to pay VAT on goods or services. However, when Balloon Art Studio does become VAT registered, VAT will be added onto all goods and services.

- Please make all cheques Payable to 'Balloon Art Studio'
- Balloon Art Studio does not offer credit.


Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel you event less than 7 days before the actual date, you will be held liable for 50% of the booking fee as product will have been purchased to fulfil your request and also that date/time will have been held for you and very unlikely to be refilled if cancelled.


Hired items
When items are hired a refundable security deposit may be required and held until the safe return of the hired item(s). If products are not returned by the agreed deadline or are returned damaged the deposit will be kept as payment to repair/replace such items. During the period of hire, the items listed in your quote will be your responsibility.


Entertainment
We advise that any person/s hiring our entertainment services reads our 'Child Protection Policy'. Our entertainment staff are hired only for the purpose which was agreed ie balloon modelling, face painting etc. Any child taking part in any of our entertainment activities MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Our staff will arrive with you at least 15mins before their start time - this is not an extra 15mins of free entertainment it simply allows them time to set up. Staff can not extend the time which has been booked only the team leader on the day and this extra time may have to be paid for for which you will be asked to sign the booking form which our team leader will have.

Staff will wear our standard uniforms unless you have requested a theme or seasom upon booking. Staff are entitled to take a break every 2.5 hours for 15mins should they choose. Characters will only work 45mins in every hour due to the extreme heat inside the costumes. Please provide free car parking access to our staff or this will be charged to you after the event.


Helium Gas
The helium gas used in your floating displays is an inert, colourless & odourless gas. Evidence has proven that the inhalation of helium can be fatal, and is classed as an asphyxiant. The inhalation of helium can cut off a person's oxygen supply and cause dizziness, unconsciousness and on rare occasions death!

We strongly recommend that neither you nor anyone else inhales helium at any time. Balloon Art Studio and it's corporate department Air Art Productions cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused by the above.


Balloons
Balloons are not an infinitive product and on occasions can burst without warning; whilst this poses no direct threat it can frighten people around the area due to the noise levels. Balloon Art Studio only uses the highest quality balloons and all precautions to prevent this to the best of our abilities. However if a balloon is going to burst due to unexpected fault or surrounding conditions, Balloon Art Studio can not be held responsible as we can not predict or prevent this from happening - We will however put it right as soon as practically possible.


Sky Lanterns
Please note when purchasing sky lanterns that you are responsible for any personal injury, civil damages claims or criminal charges that result from the release of these sky lanterns. You must adhere to local laws before releasing these sky lanterns and it is essential that you read the instructions contained inside the box prior to release. Launching sky lanterns in inappropriate surroundings or weather conditions or after they have been damaged may cause fires.


Important Information
If you wish to make changes to your requirements please notify Balloon Art Studio of these changes no later than 1 week before your event takes place. Any changes after this period may result in extra cost due to the purchase/s of products for your event.

In order to provide you with the best possible service it is important to ensure that all requirements are met prior to the Balloon Art Studio team arriving to set up for your event. ie. if tables are not set up or the room layed out then this can impact on the amount of time needed to complete your request and as we can have up to 8 jobs in one day sufficient time has been allocated to your event but delays such as the above can create a ripple effect.

If you have requested outdoor decor Balloon Art Studio can not be held accountable for weather conditions and if our team arrives at your venue but unable to construct and put in place your decor requirements due to the weather conditions you will still be liable for 50% of the total job cost. If your job is a delivery then you will be liable for 100% of the job cost. The reason for this is that a team of people have been allocated to your event, travel costs and also product will have been purchased for your event also.

Balloon Art Studio reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at anytime. Balloon Art Studio will update this page at their earliest convenience and will also include these changes in your written quotation and well as verbally.

We supply upon your requst all types of balloons including mylar (foil) - bubble (plastic) - latex (natural product) latex itself can cause allergic reactions, if a sufferer of this allergy is exposed to latex, the reaction is dependant completely on the person's allergy level and in severe cases can cause an anaphylactic shock. Balloon Art Studio is not responsible for any public allergies through suppling the requested/ordered balloons for your event/venue.

Balloon Art Studio team are registered members of NABAS the Balloon Association – Maintaining excellence within our industry.

Balloon Art Studio has both FULL Public and Employers Liability Insurance covering all aspects of its services to the public, this information is available upon request

Balloon Art Studio has complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action. Limitation of liability Balloon Art Studio will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the website.

Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of Balloon Art Studio, its employees or agents.

All intellectual property of Balloon Art Studio such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the website remain the property of Balloon Art Studio.
